Today wasn't the best day for my intake, but it certainly wasn't the worst, either.

We spent the afternoon at Brewfest, and it was a lot of fun. I'm not a real beer drinker (and not just because of the calories), but my SO is an avid homebrewer so I went along. Although I didn't drink, we spent several hours on the road and several more walking around the fairgrounds, which meant I worked up a real appetite but didn't have access to the healthy options that I would have preferred. I avoided the greasy festival foods but still ended up eating out. Twice. Including a macaroon for dessert.

Oh, well. It wasn't *too* bad in terms of calories. I'd have been happier with a bit less fat and a lot less sodium, but tomorrow is another day.

Well, we all know you can't just stop your life for your diet. Sounds like you had fun and did what you could to make healthy choices. And I like your whole "tomorrow is another day" attitude. I think we tend to beat ourselves up too much over our slips.
