I’ve been plateauing in my weight for a little over a month now and I’m so glad that I did. At first, I felt discouraged, frustrated , especially since I had done two 3-day fasts, i had been very serious about my efforts and they didn’t seem to have payed off. Then, I was forced to either continue in this upset state or choose another one. I was able to come back to what was really important to me, being loving and gentle to myself, towards myself and my body. The frustrated thoughts and feelings, because my body wasn’t doing what I wanted it to do and on my timeline, were telling it that it wasn’t enough just the way it was. I have been able to let go of so many of the thoughts that weren’t helping me and replace them with much more soothing kind thoughts. I have been listening to my body more. I feel so much more at peace within. I feel so much more at peace being just the way I am now.
