since making a decision to be immersion baptized...my life has been a true test.
Daughter came home for four days the weekend after the event. I kept pretty even keeled...even though she tends to punch my buttons. Success.
Hubby signed me up to do paddle boarding...I am afraid on water...and those boards are really not that big. Yet I overcame my fear and stood on the board. Success.
Went out to dinner cruise with hubby for our anniversary. While waiting in line to get inside the enclosed boat there was a freak torrential rain shower that hit the area. We were drenched from head to toe and had to endure the meal in wet clothes with dripping water all over. It could have been fabulous...instead we could not enjoy the experience. But I kept my cool during the entire event. Definitely not an anniversary we will ever forget. I guess that I will classify as a success also because I didn't freak out. The old me would have.
Yesterday morning found out that my stepmother passed away. I had some feeling to work through but I did it. Now to get through the visitation tomorrow. Hopefully that will turn into a success.
Racoons found our ripe sweet corn in our garden and stripped the stalks clean of any of the cobs that were ready. Didn't touch the other corn that is not mature yet? Again I just went out and purchased a dozen ears of corn and we will eat that instead.
Boss got a new smartphone with huge camera for me for work today. Now I had to get that set up and going. Did it and I am going to call that a success.
OK...Lord that is enough for a while...I have Faith but this is ridiculous!!!
