@Taryn how do you manage to keep your carbs so low? Do you avoid fruit and starchy veggies? Do you work to a “red list”. I’m struggling to hold my carbs below 18%. Pray tell 🧞‍♂️

I have an autoimmune disease so stick to frilly lettuce, baby marrow and baby gems only on advice of my dietician. Occasionally some tomato puree/fresh tomato. Most things aggravate my digestive system so lunch is generally protein/fat and super low carbs and then dinner I do some kind of green squash with my protein/fat. Trying to keep my meals simple seems to help. Its a bit boring but at least keeps things stable. I tried keto friendly treats last weekend and felt like I was dying cos my stomach was so bad, woke up with swollen lips and eyes the next morning. Assuming it was the high amount of Xylitol which clearly my body doesnt like.

... thanks for saying ... A further question if I may? Do you actively hunt for protein then. And do you round up the regular suspects like eggs, chicken and meat. I don’t recall seeing whether you’re into fatty fish/ tuna. Or do you use supplements?

I eat mainly fatty beef and chicken max twice a week. I generally have eggs in a day, cheese and then meat so never struggle with protein. I dont eat a lot of fish or tuna on occasion and do use supplements for that.

Supplements for Omega I mean... I dont do protein powder etc
