I survived Super Bowl without having a single alcoholic beverage. I'm kind of proud of this fact. I don't even like football, but any other year I would consider this game an excuse to drink to excess. My eating was absolutely crappy, but nothing really off plan. Just way too much of it. I did have a single diet root beer and it even seemed too sweet, but standing around drinking plain old water just didn't seem very festive. What I'm grateful for today: A beautiful sunrise and a fresh start.
