They offered it and I said sure it actually taste really good🤷‍♀️ why not 😆 put everything you got on it mayo pickles tomato peppers etc🤪 not your traditional phily cheese steak but good.

Yum! Never tried with Pickles but I liked pickles on the Chicago style hotdog, so why not? Glad you enjoyed. 🌺

I love pickles and had'nt had them in a while because of my acid reflux and the tomatos so I said yup put it all in there it was yummy will definetely repeatmaybe no the lettuce 🤭

At a restaurant near me they serve a great Philly Cheesesteak, and best of all they don't mind substitutions. So I have them leave off the bun and serve it on a bed of romaine, with some ranch dressing and jalapeno slices on the side. So good, and very low carb, which is what I need.

She didn’t fall off any wagon. This mentality is what destroys people. She enjoyed some delicious food! That’s all! Don’t fret Tr3!! You didn’t do something wrong or bad or need to starve for days. This way of thinking annoys the life out of me. Food is beautiful. Gives us life. Keeps is alive! Thinking food is evil is just wrong!!!!

Well thanks FS fam but I didn't regret eating it at all and when it comes to weight loss I don't believe one meal will set you too much back just out of Ketosis hehe restart with another fasting and you're back on track. The problem is I knew this would cause a huge sugar spike and in turn a huge sugar drop which it did. 4 hrs later still trying to digest all that food so wasn't hungry but then vicious cycle started sugar dropped to 64 and then I was forced to eat some high carb high sugar snack in order to stop the negative symptoms 😔😔😔😔😔I'm now learning how to avoid hypoglycemia to avoid weight gain and hyperglycemia again which is how it all started and led to obesity and type 2 diabetes but it's so hard to not give into simple carbs from time to time. Has anyone figure this out yet?

Every once and a while you need to treat yourself - that's what I say. I had a Steak & cheese sub yesterday

tr3 that is me! Been hypoglycemic my whole life. Learned it at 20. Ignored it until 3+ years ago. Got up to almost 300 pounds. I have figured it out for ME. I’ll do what you did on special occasions, but will throw a bunch of fat in before and after. Leaves less room for the forbidden fruit, but you get to enjoy it without going comatose. And you eat less of it. Pork rinds are my metabolic adjuster. That works for me. But wifey is right. Eating food is not wrong. But with a metabolic disorder like we have, find your mojo and just live! 🙌🏻🙂🤗🤗🤗

I agree w/Wifey9707 wholeheartedly. She's got a pretty-smart head on her shoulders. If you do feel guilty, just eat 1/2 or 1/4 and save the rest for the next day. I do that alot. Especially if I order something that is high in calories like a Colossal-Burger or a Pastrami. Have fun, enjoy, and indulge by tasting or not eating all of it. :-P

Tr3, I totally understand the roller coaster of blood sugars. The spike, the drop and the balancing act can be very very frustrating. I can't do *any* carbs that don't come from veggies, berries and the occasional nut flours. I can't even tell you the last time I had wheat/grain products... years I think. As John said, I've figured it out for ME. ((HUGS)) girl, you'll learn to trust your body.
