what do people eat for breakfast and lunch that isnt bread. I'm a fiend for it but know need to reduce this

Mix eggs with grilled chicken in a pan, it’s a protein packed breakfast/lunch! Really filling with a side of salad.

Porridge, banana pancakes, granola and activia or activia and fruits xx

I have porridge with berries and half a banana or I have alpro yogurt with about 25g of muesli mixed in (done the night before) with berries and half a banana. If I’m craving savoury it’s half an avocado mashed on a gluten free ciabatta roll. If you’re watching carbs Hovis do a low carb bread that’s pretty good.

fruit and yogurt, or eggs and sausage although i don’t eat breakfast, pitta bread is so good.

Scrambled egg with smoked salmon is my fave. Greek yoghurt with berries. Not a huge breakfast fan but glad you are trying to reduce your carbs A-M x

I usually have greek yoghurt or kefir with some kind of fruit or nuts and seeds like flax or chia and sometimes a few oats mixed in. Basically quick, high on protein and a bit of variety to keep the interest. It does keep hunger off until midday.

Yogurt for b/fast and a few diff salads for lunch ie: Greek salad plus Greek cabbage and Italian butter bean, with an egg on the side.

Hey! I like to change it up a bit. This is a list of the kind of things I eat for breakfast: GF Granola with blueberries; GF oatmeal with dried apple flakes, raisins, cinnamon and maple syrup; GF pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup; banana and alpro soya yoghurt; omelette with ham, peppers, mushrooms, Violife cheese and salsa; eggs, baked beans, cauliflower hash browns (so yummy) and bacon. I have also been known to grab an apple and a couple of GF oatmeal raisin cookies on the way out the door if I’m in a hurry and I went through a phase of eating tuna mayo sandwiches/wraps/salads with hot pepper sauce and jalapeños for breakfast- which, while weird as breakfast food, is delicious. I always have whatever it is I’m eating that day with a small glass of fruit smoothie and a small glass of orange juice. I also went through a phase when I first started trying to lose weight where I just drank smoothies for breakfast and skipped actual food, but I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the healthiest way to go about doing breakfast.

Fruit salad is also a good one, with alpro soya yoghurt. Apple with peanut butter and jelly is good too. I’ll stop now...promise.

Baked apple with honey or maple syrup and granola. Chocolate & avocado pudding with berries. Chia chocolate pudding. Nice cream sundae (nice cream is basically frozen bananas blended with other frozen fruit and a bit of almond milk or normal milk) with fruit and sweet freedom chocolate sauce if you ever want dessert for breakfast. Those really ARE the last ones. Sorry if this is too much!

I have cereal with banana grapefruit prunes and some tinned fruit raspberry strawberry or any other fruit you fancy and some yogurt I might add just a small amount of cereal and the whole lot about 250 to 275 cals

I forgot To add soya milk which is low cal 100ml is 13 calories

This is amazing thank you all. I normally have toast with egg for breakfast sandwich for lunch and if hungry have bread for supper so I eat loads but do think dropping some slices will help loads xx

Overnight oats are incredible : I put 2 tablespoons of frozen fruit in my glass then mix 30g of oats in a bowl with a plain or fruit yoghurt and add to the glass, leave in the fridge overnight and 😋 amazing taste as your fruit has defrosted through the mixture. It's really filling so I find it great.
