On the morning after each weekly 36-hour fast I hope to be lighter than the week before. That didn't happen this Monday. I was up almost two pounds from the previous week. Although fluctuations aren't always because of poor eating, this time it was definitely because of some counterproductive choices during the previous week. Too much starch, sugar, and fat, and a related failure to weigh myself each morning — I was lax, and reluctant to see the damage. This week has been better, and the overall downward trend continues. Looking forward to seeing where I am after the coming weekend.
