Today I measured and I was a bit disappointed. I did lose an inch on my waist and hips but my arms and legs have stayed the same since the last time I did it. Well I guess I was hoping for a miracle. I am still walking and staying true to adkins and myself. So I guess for me it is just slow going for now.

Hi Melissa, are you getting enough water? You'll need at least 8 cups a day to metabolize that fat and flush out the extra water from those fat cells. Personally, I find that even when I stay under my 20 net carbs, I don't lose if I don't drink enough water. So, I track my water on my food journal, just like my regular foods, to hold myself accountable for water, too. Just a suggestion... Also, after the initial 2 weeks, it's natural to have a slowdown in weight loss. I'm losing 1 to 1.5 lbs per week and i think that's pretty normal. Good luck, helen
