Help help help me!!!!
Yesterday it was my husbands birthday, and we had cream cake and chocolate cake with lots of cream and fat. I had two small pieces.
But today I had this cake in my fridge all day, and the cravings became so bad that while I was making dinner in the kitchen, I ate 2 really big pieces of that cake! Oh my goodness!!!
I was really hoping that someone would come and see me, so that I want to stop eating it, but nobody came...
I feel so ashamed and guilty...
I feel sooo bad now... I don´t understand why I ate it, I just HAD to eat it and I enjoyed the taste alot and I couldn´t stop... I just left one piece of chocolate cake for my hubby...
Shame on me...
I really need help to get motivated again and to maybe feel not so guilty anymore...
can someone help me????

Maybe I can blame it on my period? Can I, can I????

A trainer friend of mine says that there are only two types of thoughts: Positive and constructive. Sooooo... what can you learn from this experience? Here's my two cents: It's done. Forget it. Guilt is a useless emotion. Today is a new day. You can't change the past, only plan for a better and more rewarding future. Also, this just came to me: I grew up in a large family and my mom would actually PLAN to have no sweets as left overs (because with 6 kids, if there were left overs, there was war). So, going forward, maybe plan for no leftovers. OR just plan to have lots of cake and get back on track the next day. I think the planning part is really the important bit.

Oh, I feel for you. Had I had cake in the house I would have done it about an hour ago. My girls have been hollering to make cookies, but I hadn't let them, but I was soooo tempted today. They finally convinced me to have a few chocolate chips instead. Only 70 calories and 10 carbs in 30 pieces. Next time, there's a birthday, maybe you could send the leftovers to work with hubby, or take them to a neighbor, so there isn't any there the next morning. Don't beat yourself up, tomorrow is a new day. Decide ahead of time what you will do with the next temptataion.
