HOLIDAY SURVIVAL CHALLENGE - Week One cont....
I know many of us are struggling with getting those affirmations in this week. New habits are always hard to get going. I find it easy to get my evening one in - I do it as I lay in bed before I go to sleep. But I forget in the morning - suddenly I find that my day has begun and I have not done them yet. If that happens, and I'm by myself, I stop for 15 seconds, sit down, take a deep breath and say them out loud. Its almost like having a cup of coffee. Its a little pick me up and I get back up with a smile on my face.
For me, I'm even when this weekly challenge ends, I'm going to try to keep doing it. I really feel good when I do it.
As for "me" time, I'm working on that one as well. Today I am going out for coffee with my sister. We love to do that, but just haven't had the time for about three weeks. So we decided last night that we are going to do that because we miss it. And maybe again on Friday!!
Its snowing really hard here. So I'M GOING TO GET ON THAT BIKE TODAY!! I'm starting to see it as my nemisis...my cryptonite...I need to overcome it!!! ha!
Back to my pre-Thanksgiving weight today!!! There's a reason to celebrate!!
