I am thankful for so many things today.

I am thankful that I found fatsecret - it has provided me with new friendships and commradarieship (sp?) as well as some of the best support I could ever have. It truly has been a gift.

I am thankful for my family. As crazy as they may seem sometimes, there are no other people I'd rather be with.

I am thankful for my health. I have not been so good to my body through the years - and it has been so good to me.

I am thankful for the abundance that I have - both in wealth and in joy.

I am thankful for my education. It has opened doors both in my career and in my mind.

I am thankful that I was born in the United States. It has afforded me unique freedoms that I sometime take for granted or forget about.

I have so much today. Throughout the holidays, we hope for a moment or two where we just know that it has all come together. And for one moment, we feel that joy that so many poets and philosophers have spoke of. We feel it and we know what they mean and what we have been striving for. I am so lucky to have had several of those moments today.
