Finally some traction! This morning I was 193.8. I hope to be 193.8 for my weekly reporting tomorrow morning. Two weeks ago I was up about pound, but was feeling overwhelmed by the gain. I had been doing well and didn’t “deserve” a gain. . . so I just just quit counting calories . . . or caring what I ate for the next week. I did count calories on one day. . 3500. The whole week was like that. So when I weighed in one week ago I was up 2.4 pounds. And I thought, well I “deserved” that.

Why was I sabotaging myself? Letting that number dictate how I felt about my eating and choices. What I deserved or did not deserve? It makes no sense. I should just feel like I deserve to be happy and excited about positive things I am doing to be healthy. So this week I was back on track.

Averaging 1518/day

My goal was to lose 5 pounds this month, but I basically wasted 2 weeks (1 week eating and gaining. .. and 1 week getting back on track).

Since there is only a week and 1/2 left of November I will just focus on having an overall loss this month. On Nov. 1 I was 194.2. It might be a little ambitious but I will hope for 2 pounds this month. I am currently at 193.8. . . so 1.6 pounds to lose by Dec. 1.

I think that would help keep me on track to be 189 by my birthday. I am back :)
