GOOD DAY EVERYONE!!!

I'm so excited about the Holiday Survival Challenge! I'm so glad I decided to do this!! And with 20 people already, I'm REALLY pumped!

I still need one team leader - I've messaged a few people but haven't heard back. And with such limited time, I'm kind of getting panicked. If anyone is interested, please message me. It will be fun - and I promise, not too much of an obligation.

I'm down another 1/2 lb today. I'm feeling really good and in control. I hope this can continue through that first bite of stuffing on t-day. BECAUSE I AM HAVING STUFFING!! I'm hoping that doesn't send me into carb craving mode so much and I can have the cheats I want and not get overloaded and out of control.

I bought all the groceries I need for the holidays. Since our meal won't be until evening, we usually make a bunch of dips and snacks during the day for everyone to munch on while watching football, cooking in the kitchen, etc. And most dips are okay on Atkins. Its the crackers and breads that you usually dip that are the downfalls. So I have lots of good veggies for dipping. And I'm making devilled eggs and some meatballs that are completely legal.

So, my cheats are going to be the stuffing and a whole wheat Rhodes roll. Other than that, I have my pumpkin cheesecake for dessert (which is to die for - and I actually PREFER it over regular pumpkin pie!!), and I am making Kimbulie's famous cauliflower bake (incidently, my whole family requested this - and Kimmie - that's what I call it when I hand out the recipe!!! You are becoming famous in Iowa!!! ha!), an Atkins version of green bean casserole and the turkey. I don't need anything else!!!

Oh wait - my mother made homemade apple pies with homemade crusts and everything. Hmmm....I MAY have to have a piece of that sometime - perhaps I'll save that for Friday. We'll see....

1 cup of coffee w/hc = 0C
1 boiled egg = 1C

LUNCH
Subway club salad with mayo = 9C

DINNER
spinach salad = 6C

SNACKS
3 chocolate truffles (OOPS!!!) = TOO MANY! I'm not counting!!!
1 diet A&W = 1C

TOTAL = 17 (if I don't count the bad, bad cheat.....But it was a little one!!!!)

I wish I could take credit for it but your family doesn't know the difference so keep it up!!!! lol. I made it for Sunday, we did Thanksgiving early at MIL's and everyone liked it. I'm making it for T-day with my family too. Deviled eggs also! Oh, I responded that I'd be a team leader btw.

If you only get 3 team leaders, just assign people to 3 teams. You don't have to use all four. FS doesn't let you change the number of teams so that is what I do. I wish I was done with grocery shopping for Thanksgiving but I keep thinking of things I need to buy! LOL.
