I finished... and beat my previous time by 4 minutes. I even managed to beat my skinny brother's previous time by over a minute. I even beat my coach to the finish line!!! Alright, that doesn't count. She's recovering from an ACL tear and would kick my a** if she was at 100%. My finishing time was 33:15:55. I was running a little faster than 11 minute miles (I trained at a 12 minute per mile pace) for about 3.2 miles.
Then I got free Powerade and protein bars. WOOHOO!

A palindrome is a word/phrase/etc. that can be read in either direction. EX: "WOW", "MOM", etc. So "Palindromes are Rasemordnilap" is a palindrome of "palindromes are" mirroring on the "e" in "are". That's an extremely confusing way to explain it, but that's the only way I know how.
