I was feeling blue about an aggravating day at work so, I ate two cookies and a muffin for dinner. Not the right thing to do. I'm having another rough day but, refuse to allow it to get me off track today.

Perhaps in atonement for my cookies yesterday, I umped up the speed on the elliptical this morning and made an all time high. Tomorrow I will shoot for higher.

Even though I am not seeing the pounds "fall off", I am seeing a noticeable change in my body and stamina. I see muscle definition in my arms for the first time in my life-yes, in my life. I've always been flabby even when I was "skinnier". I also feel muscles where I never knew I had them. Even the fact that I started going 4/5 miles an hour and now can sustain over 7 mph gives me hope. Even though my knee is still not quite back to 100 percent. At twelve days short of a year to the day that I broke my leg, I can actually say I am in better shape, overall, than I was before I had the accident.

I know I still need to work on my eating habits but, I'm a work in progress, and feeling better leads to looking better. So, I am still on my way. I just can't give up on myself like I have in the past.
