Thank you Melissa those are part of my salad of garden greens. Day Lilly flowers like these are edible. They have a lightly sweet crunchy taste they remind me a little of asparagus too.

Mvdula, one is an Easter egger, I forget the breed of the other two. They have names do you make your chickens. The spotted one is Maggie May, the Brown one is Cocoa, and the grey failed one is Marigold.

Guinntatianna, yes, before trying make sure you have proper identification of the day Lilly and be sure to begin with a small portion to allow the body time to let you know if a new plant food agrees with you.

Aw! Cute names! some of ours have names- there is #5 (aka "outlier"). we also have ducks and their names are lame duck, calm duck, etc.
