It is nice to know that the elimination diet I have been following has sorted out my fuzzy head and gut issues, and that it had an impact on my weightloss.I feel lighter and my gut feels cleaner!

Over the next few weeks I will slowly introduce different foods and will see how my body copes with those.

I already know that I can't eat eggs more than once or twice a week - but I am not complaining as I have found some delicious alternatives!

I have also re-introduced butter but in very small amounts - I think that I will keep this to small amounts and rely on olive and coconut oil, pinenuts, olives and avocado for my fats.

What's the elimination diet all about?

Hi Lauren, Hi Lauren, Over the last few months I had been having a lot of symptoms that point to a food allergy - fuzzy head, bloating, joint pain. Everything else that it could have been had been eliminated. An elimination diet is simply where you elimiante any food that could cause an allergy. I did but within the confines of LCHF (which is my choice of lifestyle). So for example: no dairy, no wheat (but I had stopped eating this in April anyway), no nuts (except pinenuts), no beef - the list is quiet long! I really feel 100% better since doing the elimination diet. If you are interested you could start with this website: http://www.cleanprogram.com/cleangut - I found it very useful. Good luck!

Re: the website - you don't have to use their products. I didn't - but they have some great recipes.
