Dear ones,
So nice to get a little peek into your lives once again. Being kind to myself is more a state of mind rather than an action. Kind of like being sexy is really in your brain not how you look (did you listen to Ashton Kutcher's speech? It was refreshing to say the least!).
My hubby always tells me I can do it. Of course he is a,so my downfall because we both LOVE what is not kind to our bodies. I simply have to decide. It's that easy and that hard. It amazes me how much better I feel when I make the decision and eat what works for my body. And it befuddles me why I don't do that on a consistent basis.
Now remember, I'm a therapist so I can go on and on and on about the why. Impulse control. Thinking errors. Denial. Poor self image. Daddy issues ... LOL! None of that really matters. What does matter is being present in each moment and truly being kind to myself. Patience. Living life.
So here I am. In this moment. Saying hello. Checking in. A plan decided for this moment. The next one awaits.
I forget how important it is for me to have a community and you all have been a very supportive and important community to me. Don't know if I can be here every day but I know I can be here more often than I have been.
