Beautiful little seth is just a dream, such a good baby. Breastfeeding has me ravenous, but at least now I'm home, I'm able to make healthy choices. It seems I've been left with a heart condition after the birth, worrying times!!

Honestly, this birth has been a nightmare. I lost a lot of blood during surgery, developed multiple bowel obstructions and now I've been left a AV block of the heart!
Baby developed an infection and needed a lumbar puncture and intravenous antibiotics for 5 days, plus light therapy for jaundice.
So glad to be home and we're both on the mend!

Poor you and Seth, How traumatic. Will they be able to sort it out? Blood thinners etc or is it not that straight forward?

ooh so beautiful. Hope you both have a speedy recovery. I wouldn't worry too much on weight and its great that your breast feeding. Give it a couple of months for your body to recover and hope your managing some sleep too . Keep well xx

I'm on blood thinning injections until the weekend. Waiting for a priority appointment for the cardiologist for futher testing. They tested me for heart failure and any heart damage and luckily and thankfully, both those tests were normal!!
