NHS couch potato to 5K in 9 weeks - downloaded Just completed day 1 - Yay!
That felt good! I did it inside, a sort of on the spot thing, I am glowing at the end of it, so that seems to have worked for today.
glass of water drank, and banana eaten.
Race for life tomorrow. Lets see how I do tomorrow, and then compare it with how I do at the end of the 9 weeks.

It's really good and really really works too.I ended up redoing it (but just the concept from my own memory of it)as I left running for so long.Had to treadmill it as had achey joints and treadmill is gentler on the joints.I've built it up the same way-ish over the weeks and can now run 30mins non stop.Keep with it, don't give up.It will get easier and that itself will spur you on and make you feel goooooood.

Thank you, I have never done any running before, I am not sure if I will get anything above a jog, but I know I am carrying a lot of extra weight, and if I try this it may help to curb my appetite.

Oh if you stick with it you will get further than a jog....if you want.Just take it slowly and stretch it longer than 9 wks if you need it.I did.Anything is a bonus on the day before if you have never done it before.
