Recently lost my job. I used to walk about 7 hours straight through the day. So, imagine going from 7 hours of walking to just hanging around the house not doing anything.
I've gained a whole lot of weight...around 15-20 lbs. and it's getting to the point where I hate getting up everyday. I think, "what for? To feel ridiculous or like people are staring at my excess weight?"
But I know something must be done. So today I begin the Super Slim Me challenge. No fast food for three weeks. That's all I eat really 'cause my friend loves the stuff and insists I eat with him. I could say "no", but it's kinda hard when you see it as "super delicious fast food" versus "dry, no flavor, cardboard tasting food".
It's not mind over matter. It's a conscious effort to be healthier.
And the challenge couldn't have come at a better time! I just know if I stick to it, I'll have two reasons to be happy when October comes around; weight loss and my birthday!
