The snacking is becoming a huge habit again and not surprisingly there's a gain on the scale although I do have PMT which will account for part of the gain and for part of the urge to snack! Also two days off and doing some baking didn't help.

I've done this before though, in fact, it's a fairly familiar pattern - thinking I'm home and dry, thinking it;s all under control and consequently letting go of the mental reins.

Fast day today, so an opportunity to regain control. Wish me luck and self-control :)

It's an ongoing battle, no doubt about it. I think the fact that you're aware of it puts you a huge amount ahead of the game. Speaking for myself, I'm just hanging on here...not gaining, not losing. I still haven't gotten back to walking. My schedule is just so crazy right now it's hard to keep anything even remotely regular. And I NEED "regular" in order to keep going...sigh...school will be out for me soon; that will help.
