I feel amazing today! Absolutely amazing! I am down over 20 pounds going into my vacation that starts Monday. :) I am truly amazed at how easy it has been to eat healthy and avoid junk. I am kind of on edge waiting for the cravings and bad habits to slip back in though. It is very weird. Could I really have had an actual change of perspective and this could be a new me? Is that really possible? All the diets I have even done begin with saying that this is a new lifestyle but sure enough... that only lasts as long as the willpower and then POOF... just as quick as it came it's gone. I really do feel differently this time though and I am happy but nervous at the same time. I have faced many challenges these first 2 1/2 weeks; mega pms, bloating, constipation, family drama, many emotional ups and downs, eating out, visiting family, being very very busy, and more and through it all, I prevailed! I didn't overeat, I didn't eat crap, I drank water, I excercised a little bit and I am feeling great and fitting into my clothes better! Life is good.

So vacation starts Monday... I board a plane from the safe and comfortable LA home where I have great grocery stores, farmer's markets, Trader Joe's and more all within short drive to... Upstate NY... there are farms... but little else. No specialty markets etc. It is going to be a challenge to find food that I like and want to eat but I know it is possible. We will be eating out alot and my Grandma is sure to cook some of my favorites. But... this time... I am not dreading it... I know that I am going to eat stuff that I normally wouldn't eat because I don't have the opportunity very often. I wouldn't be surprised if my food journal has NY Pizza listed everyday! If I gain a little weight on vacation, I am ok with that. If I lose some... amazing.. but I am not worried. This is just 2 weeks out of the rest of my life and I am going to enjoy it and make adjustments when I am done to get back on track.

You're doing great. You have everything you need inside of you to make it to the goals you set for yourself. I think you've had a breakthrough. You realize theres no failure in eating less than perfectly for a few days. It's just life. Nobody can expect themselves to be perfect all the time. Once you realize that, everything is easier, its just the continuum of life. Some days are better than others, and that is okay! Have a great time and enjoy seeing your family.

I am really glad you feel good about where you are right now. It is good to feel on top of things it can really give you a good feeling of control and balance. Life is good! I hope you have a great time on vacation. We will see you when you get back. :)

Thank you guys! I DO feel so incredible and I want to enjoy feeling incredible instead of worried about it ending! lol that is my goal! Enjoy the success and enjoy feeling good! :)
