I started Atkins in January of 2004 at 245 lbs. I am currently weighing in at 165. I have been struggling with this last 25 lbs like nobodys business. Up and then down and up and down. yo yo'ing is not healthy for my body so I have to get a grip on things. My lowest weight on Atkins was 145. I have managed to keep off more than 80 lbs for the last 4 years, so NO, you don't just gain it back. It's a lifestyle, you can't lose the weight and then go back to eating like you did when you were fat. It doesn't work that way. And that's my problem. I get slim and cocky. Bad Carbs do things to my body that are unhealthy and even though they taste ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY, I need to learn to shut it off. I don't know that I will ever be able to forgive my body it's quirks but I will die trying. I know what's good for me, I just gotta do it, and that's harder than anything I've had to do in the last 5 years. So here's to another try.

Hello there. :) I could not sympathize more with the yo yoing. I am getting dizzy from it. I go from 174 to 180 and CANNOT seem to go lower. I need a kick in the butt or something.
