I agree. Exercise is a good replacement for blood pressure medication, as well. I'm off mine since my 5 day fast about 6 weeks ago. If my BP creeps up, I take a walk or work in my garden.

I’ve been in BP meds since January it’s under control with the help of meds doctor told me to keep walking daily lol unfortunately high BP and bad hearts run in my family so I’m really trying to stay on top of it these days lol I’m not even 40 yet so doing my best to get to a healthy good habit now!

Whocares2017– you are doing the right things. Do NOT define your future health by your family’s history. Some issues have a hereditary component but so much is lifestyle and poor choices.. in the USA everybody's family is riddled with heart disease, obesity, diabetes, butt YOUR life does not have to follow that course. You can do this.
