I'm disappointed that I gained back what I had lost. I ate a lot of carbs this past week even though I knew better. I guess I better go back to limiting or cutting out carbs from my diet which is hard for me to do. I tend to crave carbs and sweets.

I'm curious (and I can't see your food diary) what kind of carbs and did you have a deficit over all?

I'm not judging - just there are days when I miss the net carbs mark by a mile so I try to soothe myself with the 'well, I still have a deficit'.

Part of the problem was I didn't use the food diary. I am starting to use it this week. Also, I didn't have time to go to the store, so I was eating on the run or eating quick and easy foods. I'm going to start really watching and recording what I'm eating. The last time I did that I was able to drop 10 lbs. I'm also going to look into the Keto diet. Everyone seems to be doing it and it seems to work. In the past, I have just been watching what I ate and reducing my portions. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well it's all about maths and science. Just track everything and be honest with yourself. You can find time to go to the store. You can find time to work out too. It's all about your motivation and inspiration. Please don't give up!! What do you think makes you "not have time to"?
