I have not been losing beyond the first week of water weight. So I have lowered the suggested intake from 1600 calories to 1500. The real goal is to get my blood sugar down. The first time I took it: 236! After a few days: 173. A week and a half later: 164. After 2 full weeks of strict low carb I have seen 136 once and 140 once. It hovers nearer to 155. I have to get the numbers down as I refuse to take medication. Helpful suggestions anyone?

Do you exercise? Exercise along with weight lose will help control your blood sugar. Also, I would consider lowering your carb intake. You are currently eating around 100 gm carbs per day. Maybe cut that back to 50-60 gm of carbs per day?

Honestly, I have been sitting at a desk every day for over twenty years. I hate excercise! Whine, whine! I have started walking now. I am hoping with the increased activity, I will get stronger and not be so opposed to trying to do more.
Less carbs! Really! And I thought I was doing so well!
I am eating less than half the calories I was eating 2 weeks ago! This makes me want to shoot myself! Kidding! But jeez!
