I was thinking again today how losing weight is like slowly excavating your own skeleton from the inside out. Virtually every part of me looks differently at this point; my kneecaps are bonier, even my toes are noticeably slimmer (who would think toes got fat? Or at least I never did). I'm excited to make more little discoveries like this in another 10, 20, 30 lbs closer to my goal weight.
