Okay so I ate a few chocolate covered raisins ( I know, I know) but all in all my carbs are still good and I think that I am doing better on my calories and carbs. I know I am definately doing better in my mind. My husband actually looked at me and said "you know I can really tell you are losing weight in your face" now for the rest of me lol!

I am feeling better than ever!!

It is nice when people start noticing -- love that feeling. Sometimes you can eat a higher carb item and stay within your limits of carbs and calories BUT be aware that the sugar content in that item (cc raisins, lol) may/will cause you to crave sugar later. For me the cravings are not usually worth it.

I know, I am probably not going to be buying anymore any time soon, just so I won't be tempted. lol.

So glad that your hubby noticed the change in your face. That's the first place it's noticeable on me, and it's such a good feeling when people notice. Someone bought me a big ol' bag of my favorite candy (Skittles) about a month ago. Didn't open them for several days, then one day, when my will-power was weak, I opened them and ate 10 (that's about 10 carbs). They were soooo good, BUT it made me want the whole bag!! The next couple of days I would eat 5. It started becoming a habit, so I gave them to my kids lol. I don't crave sweets very often, never have been a lover of candy, but when I do, I buy Russell Stover brand sugar-free candy. They do seem to stall me 'cause they make me bloated and gassy, so I don't buy them very often. Sometimes, chewing a piece of sugar-free gum helps satisfy my craving for something sweet.
