Not a great week for me. I made a point to watch what I ate and burn 1000+ calories per day, yet somehow still managed to gain 0.4lbs. If this is going to keep up, I may as well leave one of the challenges I'm involved in now. I did have a drop before, but most of the last few weeks have involved a gain of some sort, even though I'm busting my ass working out.

This is why I hate having to lose weight. If it were honestly as simple as watching what I ate and exercising, I wouldn't mind the hard work, but sometimes that just doesn't work the way it should, and that's what gets frustrating. Who wants to keep trying when your weight hasn't changed more than a pound in over a month even when you're doing things right?

Hang on in there. When I started my "diet", I lost weight very quickly. After the 1st month I noticed I was gaining weight. But my clothe fit me very well. I was gaining muscle and it weighs more than fat, which explained the weight gain. Even if this isn't the case for you, remember: You didn't gain ALL the weight in one month. Slow and Steady wins the race. :-)
