I'm having a long day. Not a bad day, but a long day. So I broke down. I started to walk to the grocery store to buy myself a candy bar. I didn't want to because I know the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday's going to be hell on my bloodstream, but I'm an addict who needed his fix. Except when I got to the store, the magical happened: I caught sight of some grapes and they sounded good. So I walked right past the candy bars and bought some grapes. I ate a shit ton of them, but I got my sugar rush and don't have the guilt and shame I would have if I had grabbed the candy bar. Well done, Mistercliff, maybe some of this hard work is slowly paying off in new and sustained habits!
