I've been really busy so I've not had a chance to really be on here much. I am a little bummed today. I just get so tired of people who really want you around when they need something and then when they don't need you anymore you're pretty much nonexistent until the next time. I just don't understand people.
On another note, I was thinking about weighing in everyday and seeing how different combinations of food effects my weight loss efforts on a day to day basis. I am very happy to report that I have lost 5 pounds!!

Congrats on the weightloss! However, you may want to rethink weighing in on a daily basis. I realize different foods have an impact on how we lose weight; ie. the drinking of green tea to boost your metabulism, but I think weighing in everyday is too often; twice a week, at best, or even once a week is more realistic, and you'll still see the dramatic difference you are seeking. I check my weight several times a week, but only document it weekly, or every two weeks; that way I can avoid the stress of daily fluctuations in my weight. Be blessed with whatever you decide to do. Thanks for the advice ShyGuy! It probably is best to weigh in every week. It also has that wow factor when you lose 4 or 5 pounds in a week like I did. :)

I am agreeing with ShyGuy -- I am guilty of weighing in almost daily but am 2-1/2 yrs into my journey and totally understand the ups and downs due to water and waste - that said, I have one official weigh-in each week - same time, same place. When I was first starting out it was important to get the hang of eating low carb and trying not to obsess over the scale - so many changes are being made in your body that the scale does not measure. Oh, and I remember weeks when I did great scale-wise and I'd repeat everything measure for measure the next week with totally different results -- remember, the scale only tells part of the story :)

Thanks GigiP! That is great to keep in mind because I am definately guilty of beating myself up when the scale doesn't reflect what I want it to or think it should. I need to just remember to take it one day at a time and eventually I WILL get where I want to go!
