Today I visited the new gym in College, which is the first time I've been in one since the accident that led to the buggered knee. Unsirprisingly I am not at all fit, but did manage 30 minitutes of cardio split across three machines.

As its a small space there is a strange torture device with cables and weights which can be used for many exercises. The gym orientation session was rather light on how to use all of that as the trainer was unsure (beyond saying "these are really cool"). If I can work out what its called I can find some videos explaining beginner exercises and start from there.

My legs and arms ache. The fitbit thinks I've burnt a total of 3800 calories today, which seems unexpectedly high for about half an hour's workout beyond my normal level of activity.

Now all I have to do is find the motivation to go back in 2 or 3 days time.
