Please help 💁😭😣😳Anyone out there who has succeeded in a fight with binge eating disorder?? the worst part is l get depressed, extremely so, after binging. (which is almost like everyday, often happens dinner time )

Do you eat a big breakfast? Usually binging at night is when you skipped breakfast😊 well that is what happens with me

Ja I'd have a big healthy breakfast and lunch (low carb). Comes dinner time, I just can't control myself I JUST CANT STOP it gets really bad, eating anything and everything I see. Even if I'm fool I eat until my tummy hurts..

I know what it feels like @nomthu22, it’s like losing all control of yourself around food. I also struggle a lot with that. I still haven’t been able to get my eating disorders under wraps, but we’re trying and you’re not alone ❤️❤️

Try and limit these episodes and promise yourself tomorrow night and at least reduce the binge eating by half every second night...?

I also struggle with that, also always in the evening and no matter how much I tell myself I shouldnt do it, rather wait and binge at the weekend or something I cant control it, I think just one thing, then its just one more then before I know it Im so full I feel ill, then I hate myself for it and feel guilty and anxious and depressed. And the more stressed and emotional I am the worse I binge. Best way I have found to stop doing that is I keep myself busy (out the house or away from the kitchen) I gym, exercise classes, visit a friend all in evening after work then by the time I am done its bedtime so no time to eat

You can also clean your cupboards out, so that there ISN'T anything to binge on. Keep eggs at hand, & have boiled eggs, or snack on carrots if you feel you need to eat more. If it isn't in the house, you can't binge on it. And only make enough food at dinner time, that way you also limit the overeating.

Interesting, I was telling my health coach that I still struggle with the temptation to eat a lot at night. We looked at why I do it, and we discovered that I find that time a time to of load and I usually do it in front of my television. It is hard and the temptation is strong because I feel good eating all that food and junk, but yes the after effects of guilt is paralyzing. We decided I need to remember where I want to go and also to move away from the Television. I also found that I needed to do something new that I enjoy, which for me is reading and having a really nice cup of coffee or tea in bed. Also to brush my teeth early. I also realize that it is a wave of emotion and it will go away. It is always a choice I make... and when I did not fall into the trap, I feel so good in the morning...

I hear you! I have found what helps me is having meal prep ready when I get home at from work. I also go for a 40 min walk as soon as I get home, which keeps me out the fridge. I guess you have to find what works for you but Binge eating is an addiction that takes perseverance to over come, every day is a stepping stone.

You not alone, for me i keep nothing for eating by my house, only coffee to ensure when i get cravings i have no choice but to make do with what there. I also try to sleep early don't watch TV rather wake up early and do something worth while.

Morning, what helps for me is cinnamon. I drink the following in the morning, a table spoon of raw aplle cider vinegar, a half teaspoon honey and cinnamon in a Luke warm half cup of water. That stabilizes you blood sugar level. You won't crave anything really. You can Google it as well.

I also have the same problem. What works for me is to prep my meals on Sundays so during the week when I come back I eat straight away. Like at 5pm. From there I deal with kids homework and a little cleaning. As soon as 2 hours is up, I go sleep. I sleep so early people laugh at me. But I have realized that the longer I stay away, the more I eat. only stay up if I have serious stuff to do like study.
