I have no energy and its the first day of my diet..wtf? If it werent for my children I would have probably just napped all day on the couch but daughter Ally (4 years old) is trying to give me a lot of motoivation so I'm making a goal to do some house cleaning and then do some major cardio!

Hi Ashley, You didnt record all your food so its hard to say why you are so tired but my guess is not enough calories. You should have at least beween 1500-1700 or you will be tired not enough nutrition and your body will hang onto everything you eat. Make a healthy menu the night before of first thing in the morning if you can with the right counts and stick to it...Atkins gives amazing energy if followed correctly...Good Luck :)

Ashley, I can personally tell you that I felt like crap the first week. It was hard for me to stick with and I was so tired and crabby. But I feel GREAT now that I am starting my third week. Honestly, at about day 6 I started to notice I was feeling better and into that second week I felt awesome. I used to want to crash HARD in the afternoon, but I don't get those feelings anymore. Stick with it...it gets better!

Ashley, drink some full sodium, beef or chicken broth. That will help a lot. Tiredness is pretty common the first couple of days. Make sure you take your supplements, too, as that will help. And welcome to your new way of eating and your new life. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. There are lots of truly wonderful people on here all ready and willing to share their experience.

I'm learning, I figure I'll make mistakes at the start of this until I figure out 100 % of what I'm doing. I read that your body goes through withdrawls from the junk that you were use to put in your body and I was putting a whole lot of junk in this body so I can't wait for that part of this diet to go away.

This should pass within a few days. If you are feeling really bad, make sure you drink the broth (full sodium) for sodium depletion as well as avocado for the potassium. You can always take some pain relievers too. You will be feeling so much better soon. Take care and best luck.
