Hey everyone. I’m beginning to notice that I’m making healthier choices and my ability to say no and walk away is growing stronger. There are 4 Slices of pizza left over in the kitchen and instead of eating a slice or all 4, I ate my sons pepperonis instead. This is a victory for me. Small victory, but none the less my victory for the day. One day at a time, just like recovery. I enjoy reading your posts and recipes and struggles because it makes me stronger. This is a fellowship and like Bruce Lee said

A victory is a victory no matter how big or small! Well done! Pizza is something I can’t pass up so I use portion control. If we can watch tv it helps because I get that one plate of 1-3 pieces and I don’t want to miss the show to get another slice from the other room ;). By the time I can get one the food has settled and I don’t feel as hungry. Just have to have hubby put up the leftovers so I’m not tempted again with he smell if it’s still warm!

nice willpower I love pizza too fortunately I don't care for the crust. I would have snatched the cheese too!

Still gets me how eating right, give this kind of magic power. There was a time I wish for a pill that could give me this sort of self control. Now I know, all that's needed is to keep the carbs very low, and sweet on zero. Not hard either, as we get to eat the good tasty stuff.
