The frost has gone but now we have rain and the wind is howling round the house as I write this. Have not been doing too well with the diet this week as my cold has kept rearing it's ugly head just as I think it's gone. No excuse really but comfort food does stick to the hips. I am venturing out this afternoon to grocery shop and meet a friend for coffee after, we sit and chat for ages as we used to work together in the bank now both retired. a good gossip does perk you up when it's with a good friend.
