I just came back from my Holidays and I had a fantastic time with brother and friends. Italian food was amazing and I tried the Sicilian typical food. I decided to go for protein and salad most of the time, however, I had to try a bit of the local pizza and pasta (oops) so the damage to my diet has a number... 1.4 kg,
I came back 3 pounds heavier! I think a big contributor to the weight gain was the amount of wine, cocktails, beers and shots, I'm not a heavy drinker but last week I drank more than I have had in the whole year.
I danced, snorkelled and walked but that did not compensate for the extra calories I had.. I'm out of ketosis and it would take me a good few days to go back to burning mode. My mini goal is to finish the month of June with 76Kg weight (3.5 kilos less). It seems a lot to lose in just 2 weeks.
I'm missing Costa Esmeralda already, such a lovely place.
