It was my bday 2 days ago and I had a glass of wine and chunky chips with chicken, vegetables, and creamy mushroom sauce. I reckon around 800-900 calories on that meal. I truly enjoyed it.
However, the aftermath is that I have not lost any weight since then. Tomorrow I'm going to an all-inclusive holiday that was given as a gift from my brother, I could not say NO could I?
I expect some weight gain but hopefully not more than 2 kilos which I will try to lose by the end of June.

I have to admit I feel anxious about derailing and also about the hunger pangs when my body starts to burn down the stored glucose as at the moment my hunger is controlled as my carb intake is never over 60-70grams a day.

Any experiences on weight management during holidays? tips and tricks?

Go exploring, don't just sit around poolside. See things, do things, burn off whatever you're gonna eat and drink that way, or you just go all inclusive on the salad bar

Good advice, Dave. I'd suggest using a smaller plate at the buffet and don't pile it up. Choose things that fit with your way of eating rather than what you know derails you. You don't eat much in the way of carbs normally so why do it on hols? When you've finished that plate have a drink of water and wait before going back for more or a dessert. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!

Dave, Phooka excellent tips. I will try to keep as active as I can, drink plenty of water and use a small plate in the buffet. Many thanks
