Well I had a great day. I cleaned my kitchen, it needed it.. well the whole house needs attention due to me being sick last week. Yesterday I dropped my husband off at the airport at like 715 or 730 am.. so when we got home I cleaned the bathrooms. So now the two worst zones in my house are cleaned and set to rights. My husband was due home on Friday.. but I got a text from him around 11 saying that something was canceled and he thought he would be home on Wed. so yea!!!! then he txted me again and said he will be landing tomorrow at 845 .. Woot!! Tuesday is even better. I like my husband.. I think he is swell! I did my zumba 20 min workout.. I did none of the dance moves right.. and I would guess I looked like a fool.. but I was sweating and not sitting on the couch.. I also had to stop for about a min 2/3rds of the way through to catch my breath. And I liked it so all in all a good day! I decided I will do the 20 min work out MWF like I planned but I am going to add the instructional video T and TH to help me learn the dance steps a bit better. I was crazy happy that I made it nearly through the whole video on my first time. I know I was not getting the full work out due to my lack of ability but I am ok with that.. and just like with my eating habits.. I will get better and my efforts will be rewarded.. I am so close to the half way mark.. I really want to get there.. and I really want to compensate for the damage I did over the weekend. :) I am taking a don't ask don't tell policy on this one.. Sunday was not as good as Saturday and lets just leave it at that!

CB, you absolutely crack me up! I was so gung-ho today to come home and clean those living room floors and when I got here I thought, "really?". So, I made myself do it anyway and then I really, really didn't want to work out tonight but I kept thinking about those 2300 calories on Saturday and what that damn scale would say tomorrow so I got off my butt at 8:00 and put in 35 minutes on the Beast. I can't wait to celebrate with you when you make it to that halfway mark!

Oh my gosh...lol I am totally sitting here laughing at the fact that I know exactly how you feel about the dance moves...I too feel I probably look so crazy that I almost want to video it so after I burn calories doing it, I can burn another 100 laughing my butt of watching myself later..:) Your totally devoted and your gonna get there before you know it! Keep it goin girl!!

CB, Which Zumba DVDs did you buy? I was researching some online the other day but ended up not ordering any because I couldn't decide on any. Which ones do you have? Are you happy with them? I need something fun like dancing so I can try to pretend I'm not exercising. :) Nice job getting through the whole DVD the first time! I'll be ridiculously uncoordinated with the dance moves, too but none of us are entering contests so...

i went to the zumba website and got the set.. so far I have only done the instructional dvd and the 20 min express and I liked them both.. i have to pretend I am not exercising it was fun.. but it is still new.. maybe I will like it more as time goes on or less.. I will keep you posted.:)
